I love you - That's no 'lion'

My lovely daughter is beginning to LOVE crafting more and more!
This works out GREAT for me!!

I found a couple of children's challenges, and so we are going to enter them.
I of course did the cutting, and pasting, but my little Darling does the colouring and makes the paper choices. The most precious part is that she asked what colour I thought a lion was, and I told her that a lion could be any colour she would like. She promtly went and got her 'Little People' lion, and set it on the table with her... and then proceeded to use pink and purple anyways? lol
If you look closely, you will notice little blue eyes, just like hers, and that his little face is 'face colour' as she says!

So thank you to Meljens for the sweet design.
We will be entering in the following:

Sweet Stampin’ – Anything Goes
Challenge up your Life – Zoo Animals
Children's Challenge Corner - Use Spring colours
Little Hands - Animals Prints
The CuttleBug Spot - Kid's Card with Animal
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
PaperPlay - Use Spring colours

A first for me

So I have never ever ever before made an all white card.
The Challenge over at Meljens this weeks is NO COLOUR!!!

I had a blast using my Copics on the Meljens design, as I just adore her Digi's!!
I used Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock and Pearls, Sizzix die cuts and Copic Markers.
I also thought I might enter this in the following:
Meljens - No Colour
Creative Inspirations – Anything Goes
Papertake - BINGO (gems, die cuts, flowers)
Cute Card – Anything Goes
Pixie Dust – Your favorite things
Stampin for the Weekend – Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin’ – Anything Goes

Happy Birthday to my Mom!!

I am trying to work with my Copics - and trying to convince my darling honey that I DESERVE the $350 set of 72 I've been eyeing. I even tried mumbling something about 'stifling my creative abilities' and 'suppressing my inner artist' ... oh - so for those who don't know me, I find drama like that amusing!

So I decided to make a special card for mom's birthday - I even went so far as to BUY new designer paper that I completely do not need.... but I only have one Mother... and I needed something really special!

The stamp is Magnolia, the sentiment stamp and cardstock is Stampin' Up, and the new designer paper is DCWV. :)
I used Copic Markers for colours, and a Sizzix die for the 'vines'.

Vintage?

I tried to do Vintage, not sure how I feel about it, but I seriously am my own worst critic!!! Lol

It is paper from my HUGE stash of designer paper!
I used Nestabilities, my Ek Success Circle cutter, Stampin' Up ink in Sage Shadow and Bermuda Bay, Stampin' Up Stamp sets 'Kindness Matters', and 'Clearly for you' along with some various card stock, and string. My hand-stiches were made with a little help from my We are Memory Keepers Sew Easy kit.

Just for a couple Challenges:
Sketch Saturday – Sketch
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle – Use Your Stash.
Pile it on – Spots or Stripes or Both!
Papertake – Anything goes
Crafty Creations - Stripes

My little helper card...

Okay, we have an entry that is a team work project.
My 3 year old daughter loves 'craft time' ... Or 'crap time' as she often calls it, so yesterday while I was card making, I printed a couple extra digi's, and here we go.

The paper is K & Company, the Digi is Meljens and the buttons are from Close to my Heart.

I will enter it in her name, as she is the little artist, the chooser of paper, layout (from pictures) and buttons! Mommy just gets to cut, and glue.
Hope no one minds the missed lines!

Meljens - Orange
Sweet Stampin' - Nature, Bugs & Bees
Crazy 4 Challenges - Fun Folds
Challenge up your life - Front Panel Stair Step
One Stop Craft - Button it
2 Sisters - 1 Image, 2 Pattern Papers, 3 embellishments

It's been to Long!

I haven't done this for awhile.
I made a card!!!
Okay, so that is not necessarily true.
I make cards all the time, but I haven't made a card for a challenge in a long long time.

I used a CC Designs stamp, and Stampin' Up papers/ink/markers.
I am thinking it will apply to the following Challenges!
Anyone for Anya – Winter Blues (because this stamp always makes me thing of daydreaming... in case of spring!!)
Cooking it up (2wks) - Your 3 Favorite Things - Which for me would include Fairies, Nature (Flowers and Trees) and the colour Blue!!
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp – Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Signs of Spring - for those first blossoms of springtime!!

Hopefully I didn't forget anything! And hopefully I can get back into this - I miss it!!
